My name is Shaylee Oman, and I am a graduate student working toward my license in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Grand Canyon University! I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals and families can feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing journey. I have been working in the behavioral health field for over two years, supporting children, adolescents, and families as they develop healthy coping strategies, emotion regulation skills, parenting skills, and resilience while navigating life transitions and challenges.

I have experience working with children 6 and older, as well as the birth-to-five population. My counseling approach is client-centered and strengths-based, emphasizing each person’s unique abilities and inner resources. I am particularly interested in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, and I integrate these approaches in a way that meets each client’s individual needs. I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and discover their strengths
