Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from GCU. My experience includes working with non-profit organizations and refugee communities. Through this work, I've learned that even when life is challenging, there's always something beautiful to look forward to and many things are possible.
As a therapist, I prioritize the therapeutic alliance to create a safe environment. I truly believe clients are in charge of their therapeutic journey, and my role is to support and guide them along the way. I incorporate person-centered, CBT, and DBT techniques, along with other interventions, to tailor my approach to each client's unique needs. In sessions, I also strongly advocate for self-care and self-love, as these are essential factors in the therapeutic healing journey. Ultimately, my goal is to help clients feel empowered!
My interests and experience also include working with young adults, relational issues, life transitions, women, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, and the LGBTQ+ community.
For anyone feeling nervous, it’s important to remember that while the journey to healing can be challenging, it also holds the potential for growth. Therapy is not just about addressing difficulties; it is about investing in yourself and creating space for new possibilities.
