Barb Bundy, Counseling Intern

I am a master's-level counseling intern currently completing my graduate training in counseling at Arizona State University. In this internship, I hope to bring warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for each client's story into the counseling space.

I have a particular heart for working with children, adolescents and young people along with their families or caregivers with a passion for supporting them through life transitions, emotional and behavioral challenges, and identity development. My approach is client-centered, culturally responsive, and strengths-based, with a strong interest in narrative work and helping clients make meaning of their experiences.

My interest in counseling is informed by my own lived experiences, including the challenges of navigating parenthood, a history of family substance use and other challenging major life transitions. These experiences have shaped my belief in the importance of creating safe, supportive relationships and compassionate care, especially for young people and families.

I am committed to ethical practice, ongoing self-reflection, and creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I will be working under the supervision of a licensed clinician as part of my internship training.
