Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

My name is Anita, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University. I am committed to creating a warm, supportive, and welcoming environment where individuals feel safe, heard, and understood.

I have over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I am passionate about helping individuals build emotional awareness, confidence, coping skills, and resilience in a way that feels approachable, engaging, and supportive. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, and personal growth etc. I value working with diverse populations, including but not limited to individuals within the BIPOC community, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people living with chronic illnesses.

Life can bring periods of uncertainty, emotional pain, and challenges that make it difficult to feel grounded or connected to yourself and others. During these moments, having a supportive and compassionate space can make a meaningful difference. I strive to help individuals better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and develop the tools needed to move through difficult experiences with greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion. I feel honored to support individuals as they work toward healing, growth, and creating meaningful change in their lives.

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I utilize evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sand Tray Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support clients in their healing journey. I am also CAMS-trained and IFS-informed.

My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, self-understanding, hope, and emotional well-being.
