Counselor
I believe that life is a journey. Sometimes the journey includes jarring bumps, road blocks, steep inclines and unexpected turns. If this has been your experience, therapy can help.
I am a California native, and graduated from California State University Northridge with a Masters in Social Work. I relocated to Arizona with my family in 2020 and have enjoyed getting to know these beautiful desert surroundings. In my free time, I love exploring the outdoors, especially camping, backpacking, and hiking.
As a therapist, I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples. Using a holistic approach, I help clients navigate and recover from unexpected events and life complexities. I specialize in treating anxiety and anxiety-related disorders, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and trauma. I also treat depression, grief, ADHD, and other mental health and emotional challenges. Drawing from an integrative therapeutic approach, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and other modalities based on individual and family needs.
If you are struggling on your journey through life, my goal is to help you discover and draw upon your inner strengths to find greater peace, build coping skills, develop healthy relationships, and improve emotional wellness. I will walk alongside you while empowering you to meet your goals and move forward on your journey with hope and healing.
