I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and received my Masters in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I have spent the past 6 years counseling clients with substance use, addiction, impulse control concerns, and co-occurring disorders; including but not limited to Behavioral Challenges, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Grief, and Loss. During my sessions with clients, I strive to provide a collaborative, safe, and non-judgmental client-centered environment. I help my clients who include children, adults, couples, and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual/family, so I have been trained in a range of modalities that include Client/Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness while using a Harm Reduction and Trauma-informed approach. My great passion is bringing healing to at-risk youth who have been through traumatic or stressful experiences.
