Greetings and a warm welcome! I am known as Debbie, short for Deborah, and I hold the title of Licensed Associate Counselor. I earned my Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University in California. At present, I am actively pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with a focused emphasis on Behavioral Health, which I am undertaking at Grand Canyon University. My journey in the behavioral health field commenced in 2018, during which time I have garnered extensive experience working across diverse demographics, spanning from children to adults. I possess a rich background in both telehealth and in-person therapeutic engagements. My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered principles, allowing me to tailor my support to each individual’s unique identity. I am deeply committed to empowering individuals to actively participate in their personal journey towards recovery. Throughout my professional path, I have successfully engaged with a myriad of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and self-confidence issues, as well as familial relationship complexities. My mission is to cultivate a therapeutic space wherein individuals can openly address their challenges without the fear of judgment. It is important to note that I do not view my role as that of fixing individuals, for you are not in need of repair; rather, I am here to accompany you on your path to personal growth. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of collaborating with you and providing the support you require to actualize the best version of yourself. With enthusiasm, let us embark on this therapeutic journey together!
