Counselor
I received my Masters of Social Work from Arizona State University. I have been working with families and children for over a decade. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing methods, as well as other models, to meet individual and family needs. A majority of my work has been to address anxiety, attachment, anger management and grief and loss. I enjoy working with kids and families to help engage and create a stronger unit. I look forward to working with you.
Life can be so hard. We may be left thinking, “Why can’t I feel differently?,” or, “Is something wrong with me for feeling this way?” We may feel unable to connect with people about what is really going on. We may feel unable to connect with ourselves. I get it—I’ve been there, too. I also know that with the right support, you don’t have to get stuck, go through this alone, or feel this way forever. No matter where you’re starting from, it is never too early or too late to heal, change, and grow.
I specialize in anxiety, depression and traumatic relationships (current/past) My goal is to use an affirming, anti-oppressive lens, system awareness lens to help guide our journey together.
By working together, you and I will be able to gain perspective on what brings you to this moment in your life. Let’s meet and see if we are compatible partners in your journey towards growth.
