I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduated from Arizona State University with my Masters in Social Work.  I have been working as a therapist since 2014.  I am committed to providing therapy to teens and adults that is person centered and strengths based.  I specialize in working with adults and teens who have symptoms of anxiety and/or depression.  I utilize the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (challenging thinking) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (mindfulness skills).  I also incorporate motivational interviewing, problem solving skills, challenging perspectives, and engaging in activities, such as art, to personalize the therapeutic process.  I believe in the importance of reflecting and processing thoughts and emotions related to stressors in therapy sessions, gaining insight into how we react to these, and developing techniques to manage our responses.  My goal is to ensure that my clients have tangible tools (coping skills) to utilize in daily life, to feel heard and valued in sessions, and to freely express themselves.  I believe that the patient is the specialist on their presenting issue.  I am honored to have the opportunity to assist and guide in ways that work for each individual, at any point in their journey in life.
